COME JOIN OUR TEAM! We are looking for driven and reliable Mortgage Loan Counselors to join our Loan Servicing team. As a Counselor you will be responsible for connecting with borrowers who are past due on their mortgage accounts, working with them to identify resolutions and home retention options. Key Responsibilities: Contact delinquent mortgage borrowers via inbound and outbound phone calls Negotiate payment plans and arrangements to avoid mortgage delinquency Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and borrower interactions Monitor and follow up on accounts to ensure timely resolution of overdue payments Review borrowers for home retention programs based on loan type and eligibility Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to debt collection practices Other job duties as assigned At our organization, we are dedicated to improving lives and strengthening Idaho communities. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Experience in debt collections, mortgage servicing, or related roles preferred Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy Bilingual in Spanish preferred
