Job Description:

Clean Harbors, a leader in North American environmental and industrial services, is looking for a motivated Driver Class B Trainee with a commitment to safety and sustainability. This position includes a company-sponsored CDL (Commercial Driver's License) program aimed at empowering you with the skills to handle and transport hazardous materials safely. You will learn robust waste management protocols and operations aligned with our mission to protect the environment. Join our team and grow into a licensed Class B CDL driver, essential to our field operations and emergency response units. Participate in the CDL Sponsorship program to obtain a Class B CDL. Perform pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure proper handling and safety of hazardous materials. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Assist in the collection, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste from various client sites. Attend training sessions on hazardous waste management and emergency response techniques. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle and equipment. Ability to learn and comply with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations. Strong communication and navigational skills. Mechanical aptitude and ability to handle physical demands of the job. Critical thinking for emergency response and problem-solving in the field. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CDL Class B (to be acquired through sponsorship program), OSHA training preferred but not required.
