• Work with a Process Development Engineer or Scientist to design experiments. These experiments will provide data to help the team understand a particular optimization or scale up problem.
• Collect, analyze, and organize data.
• Present and discuss results to the broader Process Development Team.
• Rework and repeat the experimental design, data collection, analysis, etc. if necessary.
• Present the project objective and key learnings to the Simplot Technical Center staff at the end of the internship.Typical Education
  • Must be enrolled in a college/university majoring in an engineering major or other science related major
  • Must be a Sophomore or above.
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental science / engineering principles and materials.Relevant Experience
    • Engineering courses
    • Strong work ethic
    • Self-starter
    • Can work with minimal supervision
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel)--Other Information

      • 40 hours/week, compensation based on year in school and academic years completed
