Job Title: Electrical Panel Assembler Department: Electrical Integration Classification: FLSA-Non-Exempt Job Family: Production Date: 10.31.25 Reports to: Electrical Supervisor Travel: 0% Employment Type: Hourly Expected Work Hours: 40 Essential Functions Summary: The Electrical Panel Assembler plays a vital role in assembling and wiring mechanical and electrical components for backup power systems. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this position involves interpreting schematics and specifications to install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways. This hands-on role ensures the safe and efficient build of high-quality electrical panels that support critical power infrastructure. Accountabilities: - Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components per instructions, specifications, and schematics. - Layout and install electrical raceways, conduit, wire ways, and cable ways. - Interpret and follow electrical schematics and layout drawings. - Coordinate with team members, lead supervisors, and management to meet production goals. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols. - Report safety hazards and near misses to promote a safe workplace. - Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest process enhancements. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the electrical assembly team. Required Knowledge/Experience: - High school diploma or GED required. - 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or construction setting. - Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in electrical panel assembly. - Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. (Preferred) - Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. (Preferred) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and time management skills. - Familiarity with manufacturing environments and safety standards. Work Environment and Physical Demands - Primarily based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions. - Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, or crouch for 8–10 hours per day. - Frequent use of hands to handle tools and components. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs (following OSHA standards). - Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively. - Must pass a background check and drug screening.
