POSITION: Production Manager (Swing Shift) STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: This position will report to the VP of Operations, and will need to work well with managers, peers in other departments, and their employees. The Production Manager will help us in our growth by managing products, contractors, and schedules to ensure we are on-time and within budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Swing Shift Production Manager you will:
--- Oversee, lead and schedule production employees to assess work hours needed to complete job assignments;
--- Set daily, weekly, and monthly Safety/Quality/Delivery production goals and ensure they are being met;
--- Work closely with team leads to identify issues related to staffing, production, and client-facing requests;
--- Manage multiple jobs at any given time including planning, scheduling and coordinating crews, materials, equipment, and logistics;
--- Coordinate and communicate with project managers, owners, and other stakeholders;
--- Responsible for hiring, training, and performance management of employees and team leads;
--- Responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures are always followed by employees;
--- Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment that includes maintenance, production, safety, packaging, or project management;
- 2+ years experience in effectively leading and managing a team;
- High school diploma required. Some college or a degree in a related field preferred;
- Ability to quickly and accurately analyze and solve technical problems;
- Outstanding communication, both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail with an even stronger work ethic;
- Effective time management skills who can also adapt to quickly changing priorities;
- Possesses a motivating leadership style who is dependable and approachable;
- Intermediary computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Suite;
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
