Summary & Highlights:We are seeking a Part time Certified
Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Acute Care
rehabilitation Services team who specializes in providing a
comprehensive treatment plan that includes specialized programming
and an interdisciplinary team approach to help patients return to
productive lifestyles.What you will do:Our ideal candidates provide
occupational therapy services to acute care patients throughout the
organization under the direction of an occupational therapist and
collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.Minimum
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the
state of employment (Idaho or Oregon). -
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at
hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
- Previous experience in cognitive retraining, facilitation of
motor function, exercise in patient care and delivery of
occupational therapy services in an acute care or rehab setting
preferred. -What you will do:Our ideal candidate provides
