(Infusion RN)**\n Job Summary :\n An Infusion Registered Nurse
(Infusion RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients
receiving intravenous (IV) therapies, such as chemotherapy,
antibiotics, pain management, hydration, and other infusion
treatments. The Infusion RN focuses on ensuring the safe and
effective administration of therapies, managing patient care,
monitoring for complications, and promoting comfort and well-being.
\n\n Key Responsibilities : \n
- \n
- Assess and monitor patients receiving intravenous therapies,
ensuring accurate administration and patient safety. \n
- Administer a variety of infusion therapies, including
chemotherapy, antibiotics, pain management, hydration, and other
medications. \n
- Educate patients about their infusion therapies, including
purpose, potential side effects, and signs of complications.
\n
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare
providers to develop and implement individualized infusion care
plans. \n
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to infusion
therapies, and any adverse reactions. \n
- Manage and maintain IV access devices, such as central lines,
PICC lines, or peripheral IVs, ensuring proper insertion, care, and
removal. \n
- Recognize and respond to complications related to infusion
therapies, such as infections, allergic reactions, or circulatory
concerns. \n
- Provide patient education on infection control, prevention of
complications, and self-care for home infusion therapy if
applicable. \n
- Assist in maintaining and ensuring a clean, sterile environment
for infusion treatments to prevent infections. \n
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders,
monitoring for effectiveness and adjusting therapies as needed.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity
of care and communicate with patients and families regarding care
plans and progress. \n \n\n Qualifications : \n
- \n
- Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted. \n
- Licensure :\n

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. \n
- Infusion Therapy Certification (CRNI) preferred. \n \n \n
