loan forgiveness. Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650
provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time or part-time,
board certified or board eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist
(Ob-Gyn) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient
care. This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking the
support of a large health system and a well-organized
multispecialty group practice. Our 10-bed LDRP Unit with a 2-bed
newborn nursery in Ontario, OR (60 miles west of Boise) is
clinically integrated with the Obstetrical Unit and accommodates an
annual delivery rate of 400 babies. It is the only facility in
Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties
providing care by OBGYNs providers for infants >36wks CGA. With
a commitment to practicing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine, the
team’s family-centered approach encourages parents and our expert
staff in both the Boise, Nampa, and Ontario units to work together
to achieve outcomes that exceed national benchmarks. Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; -
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics &
Gynecology Residency; - Certification by the ABOG or obtain such
certification within 3 years of employment; - NCC EFM certification
within 6 months - Idaho medical licensure and granting of
privileges at SAMC – Ontario; - Valid controlled substance
registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA. Community: Ontario,
located in Oregon’s only county inside the Mountain time zone, and
in Malheur County Oregon, has a 2023 population of 11,650. Ontario
is currently growing at a rate of 0.1% annually and its population
has increased by 0.31% since the most recent census, which recorded
a population of 11,614 in 2020. The average household income in
Ontario is $55,959 with a poverty rate of 21.39%. The median age in
Ontario is 34.4 years, 33.4 years for males, and 35.1 years for
females. Malheur County houses a diverse population with nearly 40%
of residents being a race or ethnicity other than non-Hispanic
