Helpdesk Support Technician
Bestbath Systems is looking to fill a Helpdesk Support Technician position. This is an entry level position that will serve as a key member of our customer- focused IT team. The successful candidate will support users at the Bestbath Caldwell site. We have a second site located in Sparta, Tennessee and have several Regional Sales Managers (RSM) in various out of state locations that will be supported remotely. -Our ideal candidate has experience supporting users and desktops in an enterprise environment, with a strong emphasis on managing a work queue and pleasing customers. This position is full- time, pays monthly profit share (as company achieves profitability), and has extensive benefits and a world class culture to thrive and grow in. We seek a support professional that is energetic, manages their time and tasks, and who enjoys providing both subject matter expert tech support with world class customer care.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Help Desk telephone, e-mail, and voice mail systems
  • Uses the ticketing system to log all customer interactions
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including but not limited to desktops, laptops, IP phones and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot business software, and operating systems.
  • Track and maintain equipment inventory via Asset tracking program
  • Take ownership of user problems and help them through the process to find and implement the required solution
  • Computer updates and maintenance.
  • Performs all duties assigned by the IT Manager.
  • Provide timely follow-up on all active issues
  • Perform Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Dispatching duties for device servicing and repairs
  • Shows a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Maintains a reliable attendance record
  • Takes responsibility for their own actions
  • Ability to complete jobs and tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Represents bestbath, both during and after work hours, in a courteous, professional manner
  • Increase skills and knowledge through training and hands-on work -Preferred Experience -
    • One to two years of related office experience or technical field experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Previous IT Service Desk or Call Center experience.
    • Experience supporting Windows OS
    • Network printing Knowledge
    • Android and Apple Mobile Devices
    • Office365 Business Applications
    • Experience using computer imaging and backup software
    • Ability to work in an environment with limited supervision
      Required Skills:

        PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS: -Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
        • PRODUCTIVITY/EFFICIENCY SKILLS: -Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary; organize job functions and work area to be able to effectively complete varied assignments within established time frame.
          • REASONING ABILITY: -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
            • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must continuously sit; occasionally walk and stand and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision; good depth perception; and the ability to communicate through speech.
              • Minimum Qualifications:
                • Degree in Computer related field, or a combination of formal education, training, or work-related experience.
                • Must have a valid Driver's License
