Job Description:
Join the dedicated team of professional drivers at Idaho Milk
Transport, the leader in bulk liquid food grade transportation
services based in Burley, Idaho. We are currently expanding our
team and are looking for CDL-A qualified drivers who are ready to
make a significant impact in the industry through safe and
responsible operations. Our drivers ensure the reliable delivery of
liquid food products across various states, adhering to strict
safety and quality standards. As part of our exclusive driving
team, you will also acquire industry knowledge to further advance
your professional driving career. Safely operate a
tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to customers on time while
complying with all DOT regulations and procedures. Load, handle,
and transport liquid food grade products in a manner that promotes
Idaho Milk Transport’s commitment to safety and service. Maintain
logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status,
following applicable state and federal regulations. Carry out
routine vehicle checks and report any issues to management.
Actively communicate with dispatch and management teams to ensure
efficient routes and timely deliveries. Ensure proper cleanliness
of equipment and compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Proficiency in operating a CDL-A tractor-trailer or a truck. Strong
understanding of DOT regulations related to hours of service, rest
periods, driver logs, and driving rules. Ability to manage routes
and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols for transporting hazardous
materials (HazMat knowledge could be essential depending on the

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
Endorsement for Tanker if required to operate tank trucks.
Completion of a professional truck driving training course is
highly recommended but not mandatory.
