product development, and distribution.SummaryAs the Class 2 Truck
Driver, you will drivediesel or gas powered tractor trailer
combinations to transport and deliver products or materials in
liquid, loose, or packaged form. These usually consist of raw
product being delivered to and from the terminal.Key
Responsibilities Maintain conscientiousness for safety at all
times; while driving as well as performing all other duties Full
compliance with all FMCSA/DOT regulations and other Company
policies and procedures as applicable Haul, load, and handle
products as assigned while maintaining efficiencies, such as fuel
and best hauling and loading practices Inspects truck for defects
before and after trips and submits report indicating truck
condition Obtains schedule of load times and locations for the day
and drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial
driving regulations and skills Must be able to back up and maneuver
in and around tight areas Maintains driver log according to DOT
regulations Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as
tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water Makes truck and/or
trailer available for scheduled maintenanceTypical Education High
school diploma or general education degree (GED) One year over the
road driving experience. Driving school may substitute for six
months of driving experience Relevant Experience Must be at least
21 years of age due to travel requirements 1 year of over-the-road
experience Must have a commercial drivers license (Class A), with
proper endorsements and good driving record Must have a current DOT
physical Must meet DOT qualifications Must accurately and timely
complete company and DOT required formsRequired Certifications Must
have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a valid DOT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit in driver's seat of truck, while driving as well as
while waiting. The employee frequently is required to use hands to
finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with
hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand,
walk, bend over or stoop. Must be able to hook up and unhook
tractor and related lines to and from trailer. The employee is
required to climb and balance while getting in and out of the truck
and while hooking and unhooking lines to and from the trailer. The
employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently
works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather
conditions during all weather seasons of the year. The employee
