POSITION: Mechanical Integration------------------------ -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt--JOB SUMMARY:The Mechanical Integrator is an essential team member for our heavy equipment assembling process. The Mechanical Integration team consists of individuals specializing in Tank Prep, Engine Prep, and/or Engine Finish. These roles will integrate the encasements that hold large backup power generators which allows our clients to keep their business functioning in a power outage. We receive our diesel turbine generators, and build custom, fully integrated housing units engineered from their specific needs. Install fuel related components such as air tubes, air breathers/heat shields, shunt lines, fuel polisher, dosing system, urea supply system, urea tank, urea tank insulation.--Install various generator related components such as isolators, battery racks, power control box, engine rails, and oil/ water/ air compressor drain lines to standard. Install radiator components such as coolant lines, radiator brackets, and fill with coolant. Prepare and install fuel systems components such as fuel filter, fuel filter stand, crank case ventilation lines, and fuel return lines. Fully integrate unit housing and generator with tank. This includes bolting down the generator and housing unit to the tank. Assist with the rigging of the house and generator for crane lift. (knowing or willing to learn hand signals is preferred). Requirements:--High School Diploma or equivalent.--1-2 years' experience in the field of Mechanical Integration--or similar workFamiliar with--reading blueprints.--Experience driving--a forklift.--Familiar with welding and plumbingGood math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.Proven mechanical aptitude.Strong attention to detail with an even stronger work ethic.--Effective time management skills who can also adapt to quickly changing priorities.Must wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, etc.Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.Skills and Abilities: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.----Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.Strength to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.--Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to pass a background check and drug screeningABOUT US: Founded in 2006, Johnson Thermal Systems (JTS) is the largest and leading provider of Power Packaging, Power Distribution Centers, and Industrial Refrigeration Units.--We are proud to be American made as all equipment is designed and manufactured by our team located in the US.
