We currently have an opening for our Service Technician/Lube Bay position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs basic truck maintenance services including but not limited rotating, replacing, mounting and balancing tires, adjusting fluids and coolants, oil and filter changes and brake adjustments
    • Maintains a clean, efficient work area and assists in keeping the shop neat
    • Ensures that customer vehicles are repaired accurately and kept clean - road test vehicles to ensure qualify repairs the first time.
    • Diagnoses malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs for them under the direction of a senior or master technician
    • Full Automotive troubleshooting and testing under the direction of a senior technician
    • Performs additional duties related to the repair of vehicles as required and assigned by senior or master technician or Supervisors
    • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
    • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
    • Communicates with service advisor and/or dispatcher if additional work is needed
    • Aids service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, interact with the customer, or in any other way you are able to guarantee customer satisfaction
      • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policies
      • Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to working with hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediately
      • Communicates with Supervisor if additional work is needed
        • Follows all attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards
        • Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
        • Understands and follow all work rules and follows directions from Supervisors
        • Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
        • Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy
        • Attends pertinent training on request
        • Attends company meetings as required
        • Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS STANDARDSEducationA high school diploma or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional training in heavy duty truck repairs preferred.ExperienceA minimum of one year experience in heavy duty truck/engine repairs and installation is required.Licenses or CertificatesA valid driver's license is required.
