Our Caldwell, Idaho location is seeking a self-directed Quality Assurance Technician who will support the Quality Management System (QMS). The candidate we are seeking must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to track multiple tasks, attention to detail and team skills.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Assist Quality Manager with customer and regulatory audits.
  • Assist Quality Manager in maintaining conformance to the QMS across the organization.
  • Support equipment calibration by:
    3.1. Ensure that new equipment is calibrated prior to introduction into the production and/or inspection process.

    3.2. Maintain the calibration of manufacturing and test equipment by tracking the expiration date and arranging for calibration prior to the expiration date.

    3.3. Maintain all calibration system and records.
    • Ensure that Test and Inspection processes are performed in accordance with the documented processes. Update inspection and test process procedures for Quality Control.
    • Supporting Failure Analysis Investigations to identify the cause of product failures during the production and test process as well as field failures.
    • Collect and report product/process data in support of improvement projects or Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) projects to eliminate process waste and nonconformances.
    • Complete the MRB Verification process by following up to ensure that the Corrective Actions have been implemented and effective.
    • Supporting the quarterly Quality Management System (QMS) Review by collecting and reporting data as directed.
    • Perform and support the internal audit program.
    • Qualifications for Vendors.
    • Promptly report issues, problems, or concerns to supervisors or management.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management
      The Experience You Will Bring

      • Knowledge and understanding of quality standards such as ISO13485, ISO 9001.
      • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
      • Experience with equipment calibration and associated record keeping.
      • 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role supporting the Quality Management System (QMS).
      • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
        What Will Put You Ahead
        • Prior use of the SAP system is preferred.
        • Quality auditor and compliance experience preferred.
        • Knowledge of lean six sigma analysis techniques and tools preferred.
