Job Description:
Johnson Controls is seeking a motivated and experienced Life
Safety Service Sales Rep, specifically focusing on Fire Sprinkler
systems, to join our dynamic sales team. At Johnson Controls, we
are dedicated to enhancing building efficiency, sustainability, and
security through innovative technologies and solutions. This
position plays a crucial role in promoting and selling our advanced
fire sprinkler solutions to new and existing customers, ensuring
safety and compliance while driving our mission of making buildings
smarter and more secure. Develop and execute sales strategies to
meet or exceed sales targets in fire sprinkler systems and
solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and
existing clients to ensure their safety and operational needs are
met. Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed proposals that
align with customer requirements and budget. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and installation
schedules. Keep updated on industry regulations, standards, and
technology advancements to offer clients the best solutions.
Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote
Johnson Controls' products and services. Provide training and
support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of their fire
sprinkler systems. Regularly update CRM systems with client
interactions, opportunities, and closed deals. Proven ability to
negotiate and close sales deals. Strong understanding of fire
protection systems, particularly fire sprinklers. Excellent
communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Ability
to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Medical

Certification from the National Institute for Certification in
Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Protection Engineering
Technology – Fire Sprinkler System Planning is highly preferred.
Additional certifications related to fire safety and prevention can
be advantageous.
