Position Summary Job Description Summary As a pharmacist for our
Long-Term Care Pharmacy, you will work in an exciting, dynamic, and
fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy
management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy.
This pharmacist will provide routine and emergency comprehensive
and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and
dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the
centers. We are looking for someone who has a phenomenal work ethic
to provide outstanding service and to ensure that the appropriate
drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely. This
pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your
success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture
of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most
successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service
skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow. The
contributions you will make as a pharmacist in this role will
position CVS Health as a leader within the LTC marketplace.
Responsibilities Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy as
they pertain to workflow, production quotas, and deadlines. Ensure
that the pharmacy is in compliance with all local, state, and
federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
Assist in ensuring that the pharmacy is in compliance with all DEA
policies and procedures as set forth by Omnicare or the regulatory
agency, whichever is stricter. Ensure that the pharmacy is in
compliance with all third-party payor contract rules and
regulations by which the pharmacy is bound. Supervise the pharmacy
production staff to ensure proper order entry, workflow, security
of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules. Check
for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and
orders. Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and
labeling. Preparation and/or supervision of all sterile IV drug
products or solutions. Assist in the proper ordering, handling,
receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances;
assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled
on-call rotation and as required by management. Workflow grid is
cleared daily Follow all applicable government regulations
including HIPAA. Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by
location. Required Qualifications BS Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required Current
license to practice pharmacy in good standing in Idaho Ability to
read, write, speak and understand English Preferred Qualifications
At least two (2) years of long-term care experience Immunization
certification or willingness to become immunization certified
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent
interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication
skills Ability to work independently to plan, develop and
coordinate pharmacy activities Ability to read, analyze and
interpret complex topics using reasoning abilities to apply
advanced mathematical concepts and draw valid conclusions.
Knowledge of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist
guidelines for practice, state and federal regulations, and drug
indicators for long term care centers Knowledge of all government
regulations impacting upon pharmacy Education BS Degree in Pharmacy
or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required
Anticipated Weekly Hours 24 Time Type Part time Pay Range The
typical pay range for this role is: $45.43 - $76.15 This pay range
represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for
all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

including experience, education, geography and other relevant
