This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).JOB SUMMARY: (the following in only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties)

• Facilitate resolution of any quality issues of compatibility, tolerancing and material related concerns
• Facilitate continual improvement by identifying problems and implementing action plans
• Provide support with customer requirements for PPAP's, Control Plans, A3's, corrective actions, and data analysis
• Participate in incoming inspection (Visual, Dimensional, Functional)
• Participate in component inspection
• Work closely with planning, manufacturing, and engineering
• Initiate corrective actions as necessary
• Work closely with the Receiving Department to ensure proper counts of incoming materials
• Communicate non-conformances that may be discovered
• Operate and maintain key processing equipment (i.e. buffer, sander, flattener)What You'll Get:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Knowledge of ISO9001 preferredExperience:
      • Minimum one (1) year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
      • Knowledge of Lean and World Class Manufacturing Practices preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:
        • American Society of Quality Control Certificate (COE, COA, COT) preferredComputer Skills:
          • Ability to use Excel, Word, and Access effectivelyTechnical Skills:
            • Thorough knowledge and ability to use mechanical inspection tools (i.e. micrometers, height stand, bore gage, pin gages, calipers, profilometers, hardness testers, air gages, scales, etc.)
            • Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus
            • Operation of other measuring equipment (i.e. CMM) is a plus Physical Demands:
              • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
              • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
